To use physics for other peoples’ benefit. The work I do helps to find out what’s wrong with people and how the doctors can best treat them. That way, people hopefully get the right treatment first time. Without understanding the science behind radioactive materials and how to detect them, we wouldn’t be able to do that.

Like Jen I love that my work directly benefits people. It’s a nice feeling to be doing something useful.

I enjoy the fact that I’ve been learning all these skills and all this knowledge for so many years but now I get to put it into practice to help people!
