• Question: what is the funniest part of your job?

      Probably when I have a computer bug in my code that makes the images look ridiculous.

      (And only if the bug is easy to find and fix, otherwise it would be frustrating).

      Hmm, that’s a great question! Probably some of the questions the patients ask when they don’t really understand the science behind the radioactive materials we use. The main one is “will I glow in the dark?”, to which the answer is a very dull “no, not at all”!

      Interacting with patients often throws up weird questions and funny situations! Like Jen said, questions about glowing is a frequent one, and the man who wanted to make sure he was ‘really really careful’ even though he didn’t need to go to such lengths…. just a coincidence that he would use it as an excuse for 3 weeks off work and 3 weeks break from having to see his family!
