      I like it as an analogy for how to think about quantum states. And its good that its gotten popular so that more people know about this type of interesting physics.

      I think Schrodinger’s original intent was to show how absurd some ways of thinking about quantum mechanics are. Other interpretations of quantum mechanics have since dealt with his cat test in a better way.

      It’s a nice way of illustrating the total weirdness of quantum mechanics, how particles can be in two states at once.

      Another illustration of how crazy quantum mechanics is: from a physics point of view it is completely possible to walk through a wall. It’s just incredibly improbable…

      Yes Bevin I am – quantum stuff got me interested in studying physics at uni.

      Particles like electrons can exist in many states (e.g. many positions at the same time), until an observer makes a measurement. It’s crazy but true 😊
