• Question: Did you want to be the type of scientist you are because you want to save people or because you enjoy doing it?

      A little bit of both I think. I like the type of science I do very much. But I could apply parts of it to problems outside of medicine. But it makes me happy that I get to apply my work to medicine in order to help people.
