  It depends what type of radiotherapy and what type of cancer and how advanced it is. People have very good outcomes, complete cures, and some people have very little relief. It all depends on the specific circumstance. It’s getting better all the time with techniques such as SABR, Gamma knife, and Proton therapy all showing better outcomes for more patients.
  
  The right tool has to be used for the job and unfortunately for some jobs have no tool available.
