I think I’ve basically always been interested in science. I just always wanted to know how everything worked. If you keep asking how and why, next thing you know, you might just end up being a scientist.

Always. My parents used to laugh about it when I was a little girl. There was never much danger of me turning out to be anything else!

I was always a very questioning person. I started asking ‘why’ to everything my parents told me about the world and I never really stopped! Being interested in science really means being interested in stuff and how stuff works and why stuff works. Pick whatever stuff you feel most interested in and BOOM, you’re a scientist.

Since forever – figuring out why things are why they are is just the best 🙂
